We would like to welcome you to Sheffield for SIVA 2024 and show you some of the reasons why Sheffield is one of the greatest places to live and visit in the UK. Known as the Outdoor City, there are many amazing spaces both within and outside of the city.

 

Our profession is starting to acknowledge the importance of wellbeing as part of maintaining a healthy, functional workforce.  This year we would like to take advantage of our location and invite you to join in some informal wellbeing activities in the beautiful Peak District National Park prior to the conference.

 

These activities are not part of the conference itself, but something for those who would like to travel and arrive on the Wednesday beforehand.

 

All activities are being informally organised by the Sheffield host team.  They are subject to demand and may not go ahead.  Guides will be local hosts, not professionally qualified or paid. Activities are not part of the SIVA conference and participation will be at the individual’s own risk.  It will be November, so all activities will be weather dependent.
