We would like to extend a very warm Sheffield welcome to SIVA delegates and faculty and hope you will choose to join us for our fabulous event on Thursday evening. We have been very deliberate in our quest to provide a terrific evening at an irresistible price.
This year we encourage you to join your friends and colleagues for a night to remember, no need to book elsewhere.
We are holding a drinks reception, an amazing three-course meal with wine included, entertainment from a barbershop style choir and a live band in the incredible Sheffield Cathedral. This truly is a stunning and atmospheric venue and we very much look forward to sharing this with you!
The dress code is smart casual.

The conference dinner is included in your registration fee
HALLMARK OF HARMONY
Formed in 1978, Hallmark of Harmony exists to inform, educate and entertain people about music and in particular Barbershop singing. We like to bring excellence into everything we do and this is reflected in the success that the club has had over the years, with a number of gold medals at the UK British Association of Barbershop Singers Chorus Championships. But mostly we love to sing and have fun.
LIVE BARBERSHOP CHOIR
LIVE BAND
RUNNING ON EMPTY
Running on Empty were formed 17 years ago performing when they were spotted playing at a local talent show. Since then, as a not for profit band they have raised over £10000 for charities such as MSF, Alzheimer's Society and several charities for the homeless, playing at pubs, birthdays and weddings.
They cover all the classic tracks from the fifties to the eighties, including rock and roll such as the Rolling Stones, Elvis, and the Beatles into classic soul and Bowie and thrashing up to the Ska/Punk era of late 70s and 80s. There is often an appearance in the show by the Blues Brothers and King Louie himself from the Jungle Book. They don't take themselves too seriously but will guarantee you will dance and sing all night at one of their gigs and it will last long in the memory.
